Charity tournament benefiting Project Pinball hosted by Dr. Chuck Ells!
Project Pinball Charity is dedicated to bringing comfort, joy, and a sense of normalcy to children facing medical challenges. they’ve placed dozens of pinball machines — complete with all equipment, ongoing maintenance, and support — in Children’s Hospitals, Ronald McDonald Houses, and other care facilities throughout the United States. What began as a restoration of a broken machine at one hospital has blossomed into a nationwide effort: to offer therapeutic recreation to patients, their families, and hospital staff. Each pinball installation is meant to provide a much-needed break from treatment, helping lift spirits, spark connection, and inject a little fun into difficult days.

4 rounds of 4 player match play qualifying with 5/3/2/1 scoring. If 3 player groups are required due to attendance, 5/3/1 scoring will be used. Less than 50% of qualifiers will progress to finals, but the cutoff line will be determined based on attendance on the day. At the end of round 4, players will be ranked based on total accrued points for qualifying final standings.
Tiebreakers, if needed to determine qualifying for playoffs, will be on a single game at the TD's discretion for all competitors with the highest individual scores determining final qualifiers. If a tie must be broken for greater than 4 players, the same game will be used for all players in multiple sessions, with the highest scores across all game sessions determining final qualifiers.
Finals are a single elimination bracket, head to head playoff matches for best 2 out of 3 games. Top seeded player picks the machine or player order for game 1. Loser of game 1 picks machine or order for game 2. If the players are tied at the end of 2 games, the loser of game 2 will pick the machine or player order for the final game.
50% of player entry returned cash prize package for players 1-4 under a 40/30/20/10% payout schedule. 50% of entry is a direct donation to Project Pinball. LITT Pinball Bar covers the $1/player IFPA endorsement fee. IFPA rules followed for gameplay, machine malfunctions and player conduct.
