ALL SKILL LEVELS WELCOME!
Come join us and play in either recreational and competitive brackets with IFPA rules and a friendly atmosphere.
Whether this is your 1st league or your 100th, you're assured to learn and compete with some of the best players in the Twin Cities.
New to league? Want to try it out? Got questions? Or just need a refresh on the rules? Here is everything you need to know:
Our weekly league season runs 6 weeks, and you can join as many or as few as you'd like. We run two leagues each week: recreational (rec) and competitive (comp).
Cost:
Rec league is free to play. Comp league is a one-time $20 entry.
Registration:
When you arrive, please check in with Blake Pierce, who will be sitting next to an iPad and likely a whiskey. YOU MUST CHECK IN EACH WEEK.
Groups:
Keep your eyes on the TVs in the bar for the Matchplay info screens; one for rec and one for comp. When the league starts you will get your assigned grouping for the night. Player in position 1 picks the game. Player order will rotate after each finished game.
Scoring:
Points awarded for place in each round
1st - 5 points
2nd - 3 points
3rd - 2 points
4th - 1 point
(3 player group points are 5/3/1)
League standing is based on total point accumulation, with one drop week (either lowest score or absence)
You can report your scores to Blake, OR you can enter your scores on https://next.matchplay.events (highly preferred)
Rules:
We use standard IFPA rules for both rec and comp brackets. Some things to keep in mind
- Extra balls are not allowed. When the game gives you an extra ball, you are allowed to set up a skill shot, but you cannot touch the game once you launch your extra ball.
- Death saves are NOT allowed. Doing so automatically scores you last for that game.
- Do not abuse our games.
Prizes at end of the season:
Rec - LITT gift cards to top 4
Comp - Cash payout to top 4: 40%/30%/20%/10% of total purse
Most important rule:
HAVE FUN!
